Bridal headpiece inspiration

Remember my cover shot for the third issue of Hochzeitsguide‘s beautiful e-magazine? Probably one of my all time favorite shots so far! It was part of a wonderful shoot I did for my friend Niely Hoetsch, who has been a big supporter from the beginning days of peaches & mint, as well as an inspiration through her art.

Niely inherited the fine craft of making bridal headpieces from her grandmother and you can see her love of detail & perfection in everything she does. As we are both like-minded, equally enthusiastic about aesthetics and bridal fashion, it was such a pleasure working with her and the talented make-up & hair artist Sophie Chudzikowski on this shoot. Niely is a busy bee in the Austrian wedding scene, being the co-host and founder of Brautsache & Wedding Affairs and now exclusive reseller for Jenny Packham‘s bridal accessoires in Austria. If you get a chance and want to see these beauties live – Brautsache is taking place this thursday in Vienna’s Palais Niederösterreich, bring your girls and grab some beautiful inspirations for the big day!

All dresses by Jenny Packham and in the last picture dresses by Solaine Piccoli – both in Austria exclusively available through Petra Pabst. And a special thanks to my brave models Jacqueline & Anika, floral artist Timo Bolte for the extraordinary bridal bouquet and my darling assistant Melanie.

Could these two be any more lovely?

Lovely in every way.

Thank you Rikki!
