So what are the best kind of weddings for me to capture? Always the ones that warm my heart, where I feel like I want to call the people my friends, because you meet and it just clicks. And the ones that are full of inspiring details, beautiful locations and ideas that make a day so personal, special and fun to capture. And yes, it doesn’t get better than being treated with both at once!
Barbara & Peters 50s inspired autumn wedding in Vienna really had it all, what a wonderful day to capture! Barbara was such a stunning bride, wearing a Lena Hoschek (who I’ve been a fan of for ages) dress combined with a custom made matching headpiece by my amazingly talented friend Niely Hoetsch. Susanne Hummel was as always doing fabulous work in charge of planning and organisation – I really wouldn’t want to get married without her care. She’s got some of the best Viennese vendors at hand – just look at the stunning stationery I’ve posted earlier, the flowers and cake!
Thank you Barbara & Peter, I felt so blessed to have met you and been a part of your especially beautiful day!
And a special thank you to my wonderful assistant Melanie, who’s a talented photographer and also a rather well known blogger from Vienna, you did a fab job yet again – I’m so happy you came along! Processing & scanning by the fab folks of Carmencita Film Lab!
Lovely! What wonderful portraits of the bride. You just rock the Contax!
